Imperial Caterers
Imperial Caterers started in the late 80s by 4 partners equipped with solid experience in catering. The main line of business was in outdoor catering while the company provided related services as well to customers. The initial specialty was Western cuisine but over time, the offerings expanded into other cuisines and other catering concept types.
In 1993, the company changed its name to IPL Caterers after changes in partnership & management. In 1997, IPL Caterers became a Sdn. Bhd. after registering with the Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia. This marked the move to ‘modernize’ the company - systems were computerized to make the operations more efficient and new staff were brought in to usher in new ideas & experiences in the food industry.
All these changes became great assets to the company as it evolved to serve customer needs better. From then on, IPL’s ways of cooking improved which added to the variety of the cuisines offered – from Western, to Malay, to Chinese, and to general Asian cuisine. Food presentation & catering concepts also expanded into what we have now:

Our signature dish – Roasted imported whole lamb – is very popular in the industry. Tasty, juicy, and roasted just right, our lamb is well known even to other caterers / restaurants who will order our lamb to supply their own functions.
From its humble beginnings until now, IPL has gone a long way. Apart from great quality food, IPL also offers a full range of service including furniture and canopy, potted plants and other relevant decorations, mist / cooler fans, sound / entertainment systems, and events organizing.
